The Graves Amendment, part of the
PROMESA Bill, provides for the Fiscal Control Board to investigate, 40 years back, the
finances and bond policies of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.
These are the major points of
concern and inquiries
Nelson Rodriguez Esq |
2-Where is the liquidity of the (Government Pension Plan) "Sistemas de Retiro de PR"?. Both for the general public employees and the teachers? Why were they invested in Junk Funny Bonds? We are talking over 10 billions of dollars! This happened under the administration of Gov Anibal Acevedo Vila. What was the total amount of commission of UBS and broker Miguel Ferrer?
3-Where are the ARRA funds ? Why was Banco Popular chosen to receive all the deposits during 2009-2015?
4-Why were the 936 funds not invested in employments promotion and were mostly used as passive (deposit) banking products? This happened from 1985 all the way to 2006 .
5-Why didn't the FBI and the District Attorney's Office "Fiscalia Federal" ever investigate the huge money laundering schemes being done in Puerto Rico by very powerful foreign banks, who used 936 funds for money laundering of major clients including el Chapo Guzman and the Cartel of Sinaloa ?
Why are the "PANAMA papers" not even mentioned in Puerto Rico's media? What is the connection between the Secrets
Accounts of Banco Bilbao Vizcaya SA and the Panama Papers?
The Panama Papers are front pages in
all the News Papers and media of the world except Puerto Rico, where they are merely
mentioned. Both Secrets Accounts and the Panama Papers were originated in
Puerto Rico using the same Panamanian Lawyer, Ramon Fonseca!
6- In Puerto Rico, in 1986, there were 37 banks and now they are only five. WHY? Where did those more than 85 billions of dollars go to? Are they in Fiscal paradises? Fiscal Paradises have more than 27 trillions dollars in unlawful deposits, (27,000,000,000,000.00) mostly for IRS tax evasion purposes. This hurts the US law abiding tax payer as well. Impressive!
The above
mentioned concerns are just the tip of the iceberg. ........there is much more
!
So why is there such a huge concern and fierce opposition to the Fiscal Control Board - PROMESA? All the information is out there for the BOARD and everyone to see, investigate, find, and for all to understand!
The US Territory of PUERTO RICO and its US citizens have been, and still are, the victims of the most
dangerous and dirty CORRUPTION SCHEME in the world while those who governed us looked the other way or were part of it.
