President Trump Has Been Completely and Totally Exonerated

FROM THE WHITE HOUSE:

COMPLETE AND TOTAL EXONERATION: President Trump was completely and totally exonerated by the Special Counsel report and the Department of Justice.
·       The Special Counsel ended its investigation without finding any collusion or obstruction by President Trump and this was confirmed by the Department of Justice.
    • These findings from the Special Counsel investigation and the Department of Justice represents are a total and complete exoneration of the President.
    • The investigation took 22 months and cost millions of taxpayer dollars and found what the President has been saying all along, no collusion and no wrong doing.
  • This is a win for America, dishonest Democrats and others tried to steal an election from the forgotten men and women of this country based on a flat out lie.
NO COLLUSION: The findings could not have been clearer – there was no collusion.
·       President Trump won in 2016 because he was a better candidate, ran a better campaign, and won by a landslide because he had a better vision for the country.
·       No one in the Trump Campaign was found to have conspired with any foreign country, including Russia, to win the 2016 election.
·       As the Attorney General wrote: “The Special Counsel’s investigation did not find that the Trump campaign or anyone associated with it conspired or coordinated with Russia in its efforts to influence the 2016 U.S. presidential election. As the report states: ‘[T]he investigation did not establish that members of the Trump Campaign conspired or coordinated with the Russian government in its election interference activities.’”
NO OBSTRUCTION: The President has been totally exonerated from claims of obstruction.
·       As the Attorney General’s letter stated: “…the report identifies no actions that, in our judgement, constitute obstructive conduct…”
·       Following the Special Counsel’s report, the Attorney General and Deputy Attorney General concluded that the President did not commit obstruction.
o   As the letter states: “After reviewing the Special Counsel’s final report on these issues; consulting with Department officials, including the Office of Legal Counsel; and applying the principles of federal prosecution that guide our charging decisions, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and I have concluded that the evidence developed during the Special Counsel’s investigation is not sufficient to establish that the President committed an obstruction-of-justice offense.”
TIME TO MOVE FORWARD: It is time for Congress to focus on moving forward and working for the American people.
·       Congressional Democrats are already criticizing the Special Counsel’s findings and are planning their own politically-motivated investigations of the President.
·       The President and the Administration fully cooperated with the investigation.
o   Dozens of interviews were conducted and thousands of pages were turned over.
o   There was nothing to hide because there was no collusion and no wrongdoing.
·       The summary was approved by Attorney General Barr and Deputy Attorney General Rosenstein. The report contains sensitive information that prevents it from being fully released to the public.
o   If there were any more indictments it would have been revealed when Mueller submitted his report.
·       The President, the Administration, and the American people are ready to leave this baseless investigation in the past.
·       The President will continue to do what he has done since the first day of his Administration, achieving results for the American people.
o   Now that the investigation has been concluded, it is time to move forward, passing USMCA, building new infrastructure, and lowering drug prices.
·       Congressional Democrats have an opportunity to leave these pointless investigation in the past and join with the President to achieve what’s best for the American people.
Statement from President Donald J. Trump:
“So after a long look -- after a long investigation, after so many people have been so badly hurt, after not looking at the other side, where a lot of bad things happened, a lot of horrible things happened, a lot of very bad things happened for our country, it was just announced there was no collusion with Russia – the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard. There was no collusion with Russia. There was no obstruction and none whatsoever, and it was a complete and total exoneration. It's a shame that our country had to go through this. To be honest, it's a shame that your president has had to go through this for, before I even got elected, it began and it began illegally, and hopefully somebody's going to look at the other side. This was an illegal takedown that failed and hopefully somebody's going to be looking at the other side. So it's complete exoneration, no collusion, no obstruction. Thank you very much. Thank you.” – President Donald J. Trump
Statement from WH Press Secretary Sarah Sanders:
“The Special Counsel did not find any collusion and did not find any obstruction. AG Barr and DAG Rosenstein further determined there was no obstruction. The findings of the Department of Justice are a total and complete exoneration of the President of the United States.” – Press Secretary Sarah Sanders

“A great day for America and for President @realDonaldTrump. After two years of wild anti-Trump hysteria, the President and his millions of supporters have been completely vindicated.” https://twitter.com/PressSec/status/1109931644385935361

    1. The Democrats are not going to give up that issue without putting up a fight until 2020.
However, there is great risk on stretching this too much.. if things turn out positive for Pres Trump, it will bite them back.
      Thanks for your thought,
