Hurricane Katia will likely spare Puerto Rico

Hurricane Katia, the second hurricane of the season, remains on a path that will most likely not hit the islands of the eastern Caribbean, including Puerto Rico and Hispaniola.
At 11 a.m. on Thursday, Katia, was about 1065 miles east of the Leeward Islands, moving west at about 20 mph with winds of 75 mph.
