THIS IS PUERTO RICO 116 days after MARIA
,,,,and after $$ MILLIONS have been spent by FEMA, US and another thousands of millions sent from Marathons, Former US Presidents, and other private donations to UNITED FOR PR, a 501c created by the First Lady of PR.
People we have interviewed say they have not seen the relief.
Ivan (Seen in the Video) breaks our hearts. He alone cares for his parents and his wife. You can see him crossing from a neighbor’s courtyards to carry the basket with goods and people, across the river.
When the river waters rise, they could not cross until after 10:00 PM. It is extremely hard and dangerous for these people to get to their homes after leaving work.
For ex, these 3 families do not have electric power since Hurricane Maria struck the island, and some perhaps, since Hurricane Irma. They urgently need 3 electric plants, yet with all the money donated and published byt the media, no one reaches out to their needs. This is only an example of thousands that are in the same condition.
Just imagine what happens when an elderly member or a child, or anyone, has an emergency and needs to go to Hospital! Elderly people have died alone in droves.
