The MJR Report: List of countries by life expectancy

I am not surprised that the United States falls behind many countries, including its own territory of Puerto Rico. I've known this since forever. People and health statistic analysts should keep that in mind when evaluating nutritional and health habits, the advantages of new costly medical techniques and most of all, medical competency.
The obsession of some of my friends and personal family members who live in the various states, who receive medical advise from thousands of media articles, books, etc, and believe that the US Health system is superior to that of other countries, at times sounds arrogant and ignorant.
I am also sure that our life expectancy here in Puerto Rico (especially males) would be even higher if it not were for the high drug related crime rate we have at the present time. MJ
