The U.S. Department of the Navy, BRAC Program Management Office Southeast, announced today that the Public Land Sale Auction, previously planned for Tuesday, December 1, 2011, has beenrescheduled to Monday, February 13, 2012.  Additionally, an “Open House” for interested parties will be hosted at the installation from Tuesday, January 24, 2012 through Thursday, January 26, 2012. To reserve an available time for the "Open House" please call 1-843-743-2147 by no later than January 20, 2012.
The Department of the Navy and Colliers International invites real estate developers, investors and all other interested parties to review and consider participating in the upcoming Public Land Sale auction of portions of the former Naval Station Roosevelt Roads, located on the beautiful eastern coast of the island Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.   The Local Reuse Authority’s amended Roosevelt Roads Reuse Plan as well as the Government’s Invitation for Bid (IFB) document  are now available for download.


This Public Land Sale Offering consists of two separate land parcels totaling 2,036 acres, each containing a multitude of existing and reusable real estate improvements to include several hundred homes with breathtaking views of the Caribbean Sea and the "Spanish Virgin Islands" of Vieques and Culebra.  The Offering also includes numerous other commercial buildings and many other well-maintained site infrastructure improvements.
