VESTAS RECEIVES ORDER FOR PUERTO RICO WIND PROJECT
Vestas has received an order for 23.4 MW consisting of 13 units of the V100-1.8 MW platform for the Punta Lima project, which will be located in Puerto Rico. The order has been placed by Gestamp Wind, the wind energy division of Gestamp Renewables.
The order comprises supply, delivery, installation, transportation and commissioning of the wind turbines, a VestasOnline Business supervisory control and data acquisition system, as well as a five-year service and availability agreement.
Delivery of the turbines is expected to start before the end of this year, and the project is scheduled to be completed by the first half of 2012.More:
