A MESSAGE FROM THE EXILE –
An analysis
of the Governor of Puerto Rico’s Budget Message by one of his constituents:

What we have in
Puerto Rico is an Ineffective government directing and administrating the island
betraying the expectations of all the people who voted for the New Progressive
Party (PNP) trusting that it would be different.
The Governor’s offered
his Budget message on Sunday June 9th, at 5 PM and in Ponce, Puerto
Rico. This of course was not meant to bring the Government closer to the
people. Apparently it was designed for political and partisan purposes.
Intelligent and
smart voters did not attend this event to hear about former Gov’s Luis A. Ferré
and Rafael Hernández Colón who passed away. They went to listen to the budget
presentation. Other topics are more
important, among them honesty. Questions
in people’s minds, related to our day to day reality, remained unanswered.
For example:
Quality of life? Which quality and which life? Want proof?

Visit
a DTOP service center (CESCO).
·
Visit
the San Juan Medical center to receive attention due to a medical emergency
·
Call
the police at 3 am with a complaint/emergency and let me know if you find more
than 2-3 agents ready to take and serve your complaint.

Damaged
streets, hundreds of uninstalled electric infrastructure two years after
hurricane Maria,
Ha! Don't
make me laugh!
